Mike Miosi was saved through faith in Christ at the age of 17 at Bible Baptist Church, Huntersville, PA.  He received a Bachelor of Science in Bible from Summit University (Clark's Summit, PA; formerly BBC) where he sensed a call into pastoral ministry.  During his time in college he served in youth ministry in Bay Shore, NY.  Upon graduation, he married his wife Kristina and went on to earn his M.Div. from Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks Summit, PA. Over the years, the Lord led Mike and Kristina into a variety of ministry adventures.  Mike served as an outreach pastor in Florida and as a church planter in North Carolina.  In 2008, Mike became Camp Director at Camp Susque (Trout Run, PA), where he served for 7 years.  While still serving at Susque, Mike received a call to be the Lead Pastor of Lycoming Valley Baptist Church, where he served for 8 years.  During that time, Mike also began serving as an instructor with SGM both in Mexico and in Uganda.  Mike and Kristina have 3 children: Josiah, Kayla and Ella.  The Miosi family’s favorite fast-food is without a doubt: Chic-fil-a.  Mike and his family enjoy all kinds of things.  God has particularly gifted both daughters in the art of dance and in ukulele.  Josiah has several "hidden" talents including piano and juggling.  Kristina is an incredible cook (for which Mike’s stomach is very grateful).  Mike loves playing guitar, exercising and hiking.  Mike says: “Out of all the ministries that Jesus has called me to serve, I feel more burdened for training international pastors than any call I’ve ever had.  The words of Jeremiah express it the best: ‘His word is like a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in; indeed, I cannot’ (Jer.20:9).”

In his role as Executive Director of SGM, Mike oversees the day-to-day functions of the ministry, trains pastors, writes curriculum, and represents the ministry.  He and Kristina raise their support in order to continue this ministry, to become a supporter of the Miosi's please go to our secure online donation page.
